After presenting my soft sculpture This is at the exhibition Inside Outside at Time Is A New Space, I was inspired to explore the work further through a video performance. With the help of Deniz Isikli, I carried the sculpture to various locations in Rotterdam, curious to observe how people on the street would respond to its presence. I found their reactions fascinating; their gazes reflected a mix of curiosity and surprise. The act of bringing something so absurd and unexpected into a public space challenged the familiar rhythm of the street, creating a unique and thought-provoking interaction.

Grappa in mountains, 2023

This piece incorporates found footage of my grandfather, who passed away three years ago. I paired this intimate video with my work Fragile (2023), presenting the combination on an old television to evoke a sense of nostalgia and personal connection.

This video was created for a group exhibition at Funke in Ghent. It combines textual elements with found footage from my daily life, weaving personal moments into a reflective and layered narrative.
